O CCBI é o lar da Mesquita e do complexo turístico. Serve como referência para a comunidade árabe e iguaçuense, oferecendo educação em fundamentos islâmicos e cultura árabe. Abriga o Centro de Recepção de Visitantes (CRV) e em breve incluirá uma escola completa para o ensino da língua árabe e estudos religiosos.
